A good friend told me I need to focus on getting hands in. If I do that, i can start to not care about results. He has a really good point. So my blog style is going to change. I am not posting my results anymore on this blog. Good results or bad results. The only results I will post on here is the number of hands I got in for the day. That is the only number I can post poker related. No more + 2 BIs or -3 BIs or whatever. Well, monthly results, but that is different.
I will post interesting hands that come up still as that is pertinent to my development as a player. Other than that, I can discuss life in general. But ABSOLUTELY NO RESULTS! This will help me to steer away from the results aspect of the game, which doesn’t matter. If this means I have fewer entries, then so be it. This is the way it has to be.

Absolutely the way forward.
BR managment is key in not being concerned with results. I think this was my biggest leak last month. I was so focused on where I was I forgot about playing poker. My mantra has always been that results follow good decisions. Think first about making the correct decision and the results should take care of themselves.
As you’ve noticed I don’t post results like I used to either much. When I can’t quit running bad I throw a post up often, but for 2 reasons. So people realize that a stud like me……..yes I said stud………run bad also. And 2nd, so if I’m in a pissy mood I shouldn’t have to explain myself.
