Video Review

I am currently rendering a video that I made of 40 minutes of 4 tabling 100nl just now.  I felt pretty good about my game during the video.  This is a good thing, because the last few days have had some sour results, especially with the red line falling off like crazy.  I made the video as a preventative measure.  I have had a couple of very long downswings/breakeven stretches in my playing “career”, and they have all started primarily with variance.  However, they lasted as long as they did, due to some truly horrific play on my part.  I always want to prevent that from ever occuring again.  As a result, I like to record my play with audio when things start to go south to aid in that prevention.  Having more eyes look at your play can really help you see mistakes you don’t think you are making.  I think it is never a bad idea to make a video and have it reviewed, but I think that it is an especially good thing to do when your views may be clouded or not objective.  I do feel I played pretty well that session and that my thoughts were very focused, but I will leave that for the jury to decide!
